Impressive works of Si Scott

 

I am basically interested in tattoo, font and art. I used to suddenly stuck with this Nike’s ads at the store near my apartment. I stopped, saw and smiled with the ads. It is so brilliant, bold and the best. I had no idea who is the designer. Later I came to know that his name is Si Scott. Finding a collection of his works make me so much pleased me and happy to share with you all here.

ผมสนใจเรื่องรอยสัก การออกแบบฟ้อนท์ และศิลปะ ตอนเดินผ่านร้านไนกี้ที่ห้างเซนทรัล ลาดพร้าว เมื่อหลายเดือนก่อน ผมแทบจะหันหลังควับทันทีที่เดินผ่านโฆษณานี้ของไนกี้ ผมหยุดดูและสนเท่ห์กับมันมาก ช่างเป็นงานที่สุดยอด กล้าหาญ และดีที่สุดจริงๆ ตอนนี้ผมไม่รู้ว่าใครออกแบบ ต่อมารู้จักชื่อว่า Si Scott และยิ่งเมื่อเห็นผลงานที่ผ่านๆ มาของเขา ยิ่งทำให้เลื่อมใสพี่คนนี้สูงยิ่งขึ้นไปอีก

Ride in a 1957 Chevy/Farnsworth House

I used to see this legendary house, the Farnsworth House by Mies van der Rohe, pictures only from the books. It is great to see how the house is actually approach, from the main road to local road to the house, from this video.

In the Closing Ceremonies of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, London as the next host nation was introduced herself with many representatives of Britain such as Routemaster Bus, umbella or even footballer David Beckham. It looks like this new stamps set is share the same idea. “We always like to start the year with a classic” the Britain’s Royal Mail said. This is a set of ten stamps of British iconic design. Each design is not only recogined as classic but too British also.

Today she still draw manga but her style seems to be different from her well known style. Recently, her well known works are now reproducing on t-shirts, cards, gifts or other medias beyond manga books.
